Sadly our Dad passed away earlier this year following a short battle with lung cancer. During his final days he stayed in the Joseph Weld Hospice in Dorchester, where the service and care he received was amazing.

In memory of Dad, and in order to give something back to the hospice, Nick, Rich and I have decided to enter the Grim Challenge, an 8 mile off road race near Aldershot.

Now Nick and Rich, being sports teachers should walk it (not literally). I on the otherhand am going to need to train, and train hard!

Please have a hunt down the back of the sofa, break open the copper jar or steal (only as a last resort) and donate a couple of quid to this worthwhile charity.
