We are East Anglian Air Ambulance. A charity providing lifesaving critical care, 24/7, every day of the year across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Whether by air or road, we’re there for the most seriously ill and injured, when every second counts.

Story

Thanks for clicking through to our "Donate".... if you haven't visited our site then drop by to get more detailed information and updates.

Who? Mike Smith and Adam Bell. We're both keen cyclists and live in Caddington.

What are we doing?? Cycing from Durness to Dover. A total of 790 miles

Why? It's Mike's 40th birthday and he fancied doing a long ride. But everyone does Land's End to John O Groats (bottom left to top right) so why not try something different? (top left to bottom right)

When? 18th-25th June 2011

Charity? East Anglian Air Ambulance. This is our local air ambulance and provides a vital service. In these times of austerity it seems particularly pertinent to keep these front line services going that genuinely save lives.

Party? No, not really, but we want to encourage as many people to join us on route as possible. OK, so if you're not a keen cyclist you're not going to be doing a 120 mile leg with us.... but we would welcome anyone to join us for any part of the route. We will be more than happy to meet people along the route and if you want to do a sedate 1 mile section with the famil, let us know! We want to encourage as many people as possible to get out on their bike and raise some money for EAAA or their own charity.

If you've got this far thenwe'd be grateful if you would donate through JustGiving. Its fast, easy and secure. Once you donate, your money goes directly to the EAAA and Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
