WOLF Run · 11 April 2015

Together, we are bringing freedom from human trafficking and modern slavery by identifying victims, supporting survivors and preventing exploitation. Hope for Justice works in the UK, USA, Ethiopia and Uganda and helps thousands of people a year. Visit www.hopeforjustice.org to find out more.

Story

Today there are over 12,000 slaves in the UK.  The buying and selling of human beings is one of the greatest scandals of our society.

As part of a group from Christ Church New Malden, I am going to run wild to fight the modern day slavery of human trafficking.  The WOLF Run is a hardcore 10k run (and swim) across open ground, woodland, lakes and very, very thick mud. To make it proper hard, there are a series of obstacles to make sure that I am in close contact with all the elements.

I'm not asking you to come on the run with me - but please will you sponsor me on this challenge?

You will know me as a nicely rounded, middle-aged dad - so I'm stepping way out of my comfort zone: but this cause really is important to me.  The money will support Hope for Justice a charity that identifies, rescues and restores victims of slavery.  Your sponsorship (any amount: £5, £15, or £ 50) will also encourage me as I try to transform myself from an office bound slob to someone who might have a chance of surviving a slog through mud and freezing cold lakes.
