The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation is the charitable arm of the St. James’s Place Wealth Management Group. The Foundation supports hundreds of carefully selected projects in the UK and abroad to make a positive and lasting difference to people's lives.

Story

In April 2012, over 27 trekkers and a small climbing team will fly to Kathmandu in Nepal to trek to Everest base camp. The gruelling trek over 120 miles will take the team to heights of 18,500 feet, through some of the most stunning scenery in the world.

I have been an Associate Partner with St. James’s Place for the past 14 months and in recent years have come to enjoy charitable challenges!

Having originally come from a rowing background, I most recently completed a climb to the summit of Kilimanjaro raising money for The Tanzanian Education Foundation. In recent years I have also taken part in 3 marathons and 3 amateur stages of the Tour de France on behalf of The World Cancer research Fund. I am looking forward (with some apprehension!) to the 3 week trek in Nepal and am proud to be a part of the St. James's Place team heading towards Everest Base Camp whilst raising some very respectable amounts for the St. James’s Place Foundation.
