Tim Wade of Miles KingSport and Ian McIntosh of RED Driving School take on a 1000 miles in 24 hours motorcycle challenge

Ok, so here's the plan. We are setting off at noon on Friday 3 May from the MKS Honda dealership on Witham, Hull and will be riding to John O'Groats, Scotland and back. Google maps say that is 1063 miles. To meet the challenge, we have to back by noon on Saturday 4 May. That's going some and of course some of it will be night riding which we hate! 

Come down to MKS if you can. The timing is very tight but we should be back just before noon. We are planning a little welcome home party and the catering will be done by the fabulous Dixie Kitchen. All food sales takings will go to Dove House too and Dixie Kitchen will be providing a mouth-watering Alabama style BBQ.

Tim and I will be covering all our own costs so every penny raised will go to Dove House.

If we achieve it within the 24 hours, we will qualify for the Iron Butt Association and guess what - we get a sticker for our bikes to prove it! (The things we will do just to get a sticker!)
