Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, here’s a sneaky peak at how we plan to raise funds.

On March 7th 2014 the University of Bristol will be embarking on a new fundraising idea, ignit10n! 15 of the university’s sports clubs are committing 10 consecutive hours to an athletic challenge, all in the name of raising funds and awareness for a local charity 'Above and Beyond'.  The charity's 'Golden Gift Appeal' is working to raise funds in order to help go above and beyond what the NHS can provide for the hospitals in Bristol.

In a traditional boat club manner, no challenge can be refused, so the University of Bristol Boat Club will be hitting the rowing machines hard. 10 hours of solid rowing, involving members from all the squads and the committee, it will take stamina and determination, and we will be attempting to row over 600km!

We would be incredibly grateful for any donations, no matter how small, as all the money raised will go towards making a huge difference to someone’s life through the 'Above and Beyond' 'Golden Gift Appeal'.
