<p>The time has arrived for me to - walk the walk (or should that be - run the run?) I can think of no more worthwhile charity than the Nicky where old age is not just preserved but respected. If the Jewish religion does nothing more than promote the interests of elderly men and women, then it is of enormous value. This is where loneliness is banished, friendship encouraged and the Jewish community does what it's best at - looking after those in the community who need company and support. I will run with these thoughts in my head, and these sentiments in my heart. This is not for me, but all those elder statesmen and women of our community</p>
