We're getting married on 21 May 2011!!  We thought it would be more worthwhile to ask guests and well-wishers to donate to our favourite charity - The Bujagali Trust - rather than buy a gift.

This Trust supports education for children in Uganda, with a variety of projects covering nurseries and schools.  Activities range from building projects (toilets, water tanks, sick bay) to providing school equipment and sponsoring individual children through the education system. 

We know all this makes a difference to the children because our family recently visited Uganda and saw the work of the charity first hand.  It was amazing to meet the children, teachers and carers who benefit from the support.  The photos speak for themselves!

The next project is to build a new school, with a medical centre, and we are going to donate the wedding proceeds to this important new venture.  A little money goes a long way in Uganda!  Thank you very much!
