On September the 5 on a cloudy Sunday morning thousands of enthusiastic women from every walk of life gathered in London’s Hyde Park to walk or run for their chosen charity or cause.  It was a party atmosphere with some of the runners jogging with their young daughter. Others did the run at a stately pace, walking and pushing the pram containing their baby girl or trotting along with their dog. I jogged for the first K and then walked-ran for the rest, finishing in 52 minutes. 

While it might seem that I was by myself running for the Omid Foundations, everyone of you were with me every step of the way - with your kind words and generosity inspiring me to run for the Omid Foundations.  Thanks to your generosity and thoughtfulness a staggering £3345.83 has been raised for the Omid Foundations, giving the girls in Omid’s care the precious gift of hope and the chance of a brighter, better future.

So, a very big thank you to each and every one of you for showing the girls at the Omid Foundations that people out there cares about them.
