Anthony Nolan has teamed up with The Mirror during our 40th year to celebrate our lifesaving work and raise vital funds.

Every 20 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. For many people in this situation, a bone marrow transplant can be the only chance to survive.

At Anthony Nolan we use our register of bone marrow donors to help provide transplants which can save peoples’ lives. But at the moment we can only help half the people who come to us in need.

£5 could enable us to send vital information to patients and their families to enable them to cope with life post-transplant

£10 could buy a ‘spit kit’ sample holder, helping more people join the bone marrow register by giving a spit sample. With this, we can identify who they might be able to help with a lifesaving bone marrow transplant

 

£21 could pay for an hour of one of our research scientists, working to help us save more lives.

 

£100 could fund someone to join our bone marrow register; the more people we have on the register, the more lives we can save.
