Unlike most other people who have a page on this website I haven't actually decided on an event to raise money for this charity. Infact I have just decided I would like to raise money for the Bethany Family over the coming year. This charity do an amazing work and I was fortunate enough to visit them in 2006. I was able to see some of the children who were visiting this country in October raising awareness of the charity and would love you to help me raise some extra funds for them!

 

So what am I asking you to do? Simply just to take a moment - check out www.bethanyfamily.net and dig deep and be generous! Perhaps you could give up a little bit of that money you were given for Christmas? Perhaps you could spend slightly less in the January sales? Literally every penny is going to help! :-) You can make a difference!

Just to give you some ideas - you could help buy these children a school uniform - 30p buys a pair of socks for a child, 65p buys flip flops for a child, 65p buys school skirt/ school shorts. I told you every little helps!

With the increasing number of children joining Bethany and the new dormitorys -  just 90 pounds buys a bunk bed for 2 children! :-)

Wouldn't it be amazing if together we could reach my initial target of 100! :-)
