Hello, In November 2011 Big hearted Scotland is running volunteering programs in Kathmandu valley, despite being one of the most beautiful places on the planet, the people here are extremely poor, especially in the rural regions. During the trek, we will spend a lot of time involved in a project for the communities there, and we will work closely with an orphanage in the valley. The money raised through fundraising doesn't fund any of the volunteers but is simply donated to Big Hearted Scotland, an amazing charity which helps a huge variety of people in and out of Scotland, this includes people with mental health problems, and alcohol dependant people.
