30 Man Kumite Challenge · 1 March 2015

For 35 years, St Luke’s has been providing free of charge specialist palliative care and support for people in mid & south Cheshire living with life limiting illnesses. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and then ultimately end of life care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday, the 1st of March 2015 @ 1pm I Sensei Ted Clare of the MKKA Martial Arts Association will attempt to complete a 30 Man Kumite challenge. It will be myself against 30 fighters in sparring matches for two minutes each, one after the other. I will be pushing my physical and mental strength to not just survive, but to overcome this challenge.

Each match will last 2 minutes, with contact sparring rules. There will be a mixture of opponents coming form various backgrounds with volunteers from various Martial Art schools and Fighting Arts backgrounds. (Though anyone wishing to volunteer please get in touch!)

The work St. Lukes Hospice  does is something I find quite close to my heart from a personal experience last year, so I hope to give them something in return for the indispensable work they do and care they provide.

The challenge will take place at:

Tiger and Dragon Academy of Martial Arts, Health and Fitness

2nd Floor Commerce House

Winsford Cross Shopping Centre

Dene Drive

Winsford

Cheshire

We welcome those wishing to take part or simply watch the event to attend the challenge and there will be seating made available.
