The Royal United Hospital's Forever Friends Appeal is our Charity of 2013 and we are proud to sponsor this year’s Walk of Life.

At 9am on Saturday the 18th May, ‘Team Mogers’ will set off from Devizes along the Kennet and Avon canal and walk the 21 miles back to Bath to raise funds towards building a pioneering new Cancer Centre at the RUH.

It is incredible what people can endure and the whole experience of cancer, from diagnosis through treatment to recovery and afterwards shows this. Cancer treatment and recovery asks a lot of people and is, at times, a grueling and battering experience. It can be a long and tiring process and people need to be treated with kindness, in the most therapeutic surroundings. This RUH Cancer Care project is a wonderful opportunity to make an immense difference to cancer services and improve the patient experience immeasurably.
