Mohamad Al Taha is raising money for University of Sheffield
Story
Last year a group of staff from SSOA did their best in the Big Walk 2017, finishing the 50 miles in less than 24 hours, but the mission has not been accomplished yet !
This year, Allanah, Andrea, and Mohamad are going to ramble a marathon distance in the Peak District in less than 12 hours!
We are raising funds towards the University’s £2 million fundraising campaign for the Sheffield Scanner - a ground-breaking MRI-PET scanner facility, and the first of its kind in Yorkshire. The Sheffield Scanner will represent the next leap forward in medical and imaging research and have a crucial role for research and patients in many areas of medicine, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases such as Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, heart disease, diabetes and stroke.
We’re well over half-way to our target of £2 million – please support the Big Walk 2018 and help us reach our final goal!
