My story

Iraq...a country that has dominated the media for at least the past 8 years, however their are many stories that remain to be untold.

I want to bring your attention to a story of a young boy, whose life was changed almost instantly. This account and many others like it illustrates what the people of Iraq had to endure and continue to do so in daily life.

A young innocent boy by the name of Ali, and his sister Fatima held each others hands as they walked to their primary school. Their father and mother, both doctors, greeted their children farewell and headed towards the hospital they work work in. On the way to work, both Ali's parents were shot in the head at point blank range and were killed instantly. Later investigations revealed that they had been receiving death threats to their home, demanding that if they continue to treat the ill at hospital they will be killed. Later that day, Ali and Fatima walked back home to await the news of death of their parents.

This and many similar stories are typical of both pre-and post war Iraq. It is about time the international community are made aware of such cases and appropriate funding reaches these innocent orphans whose lives have been devastated by such terrorism

Please show your support this project and donate as generous as you can, because everything matters. Together we can create hope for all these children in need

Thanks
