We are specifically raising funds this Christmas for:

* Our HIV/AIDS support programme in Tanzania. A £60 donation provides a grant to a family afflicted by HIV. This enables a member of the family to be trained and given initial working capital to generate a small income from a business, helped and guided by MondoChallenge volunteers.

* Sponsoring the modest teacher salaries in schools where our volunteers work in Kalimpong, NE India (£300 needed now to cover 3 teachers through 2006). * £1000 to help 7 tsunami affected families to get back into work so they can provide a livelihood for their families within the next few weeks. NOTE: Unlike many larger organisations, we have already spent ALL donations received for our tsunami work (£30,000). We need more to finish the task.
