At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Absolutly no-one has asked me why I race bikes... here's one of my main reasons: because I can. I've been given an amazing chance in life to have the genetics, the money, the time and the mental ability to be able to push my body to its limits. I realise how privalaged I am to be in such a position.

I can't imagine a life without this chance which is why it pains me to think of a life if I didn't. Every day, 10 children and young people in the UK hear the shocking news they have cancer that's 10 people who's lives will be focusing on surviving not just trying to win a race. Thankfully charitys such as CLIC Sargent are at hand to support the families of such children who experience such unbearable news.

Which is why I feel it fitting to race in support of their work and what better way then to do Britain's best endurance race on the calander the TwentyFour12... now I am wimping out slightly and only doing the 12hour solo not the 24hour but still will be tough none the less. Donating will suport CLIC 100% my entry is already paid for, it'll give me a little more inspiration/pressure to push myself knowing that I'm not just doing this for myself. If your attending this race please give me your physical support as I'll need it to keep going I'll be in Mondraker UK kit but with fluorescent arm warmers (unless its boiling)...

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now... that bit was there already if you only have a pound then that's cool. Cheersen.
