Story

Lowestoft to Dingle Bay Charity Bike Ride - Coast to Coast...to Coast to Coast.

www.moneyspinners.org

600 miles in 8 days from September 4th to 11th inclusive

In 2009, born-again peleton Keith Carby came up with the idea of inviting a group of like-minded executives from the financial services industry to take part in one of life’s great challenges - to cycle the length of Great Britain and to raise money for worthy causes. Visit www.moneyspinners.org

Incredibly, the 19 participants in 2009 raised a total of £150K, of which half went to our nominated charity Naomi House.

So we're at it again this year, with 21 participants riding across the width of Britain and Ireland, starting out in Lowestoft and finishing in Dingle Bay, a distance of 600 miles.

All team sponsorship raised through Moneyspinners will go towards the 2010 nominated charity – MacMillan Cancer Support.

MacMillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. Most of the riders have been touched in some way by friends and family who have fought cancer. A few have won or are winning, many have passed away.

One in three of us will get cancer. We can all help. As treatments improve more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives. This means they need more than medical help; they also need practical, emotional and financial support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - Moneyspinners raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. The riders and team behind Moneyspinners and MacMillan Cancer Support appreciate every penny donated.
