In a weak moment, and much against my better judgement, I have been persuaded to run in the British 10k London Run on the 12th July 2009!
Whilst many of you might think that this would be classed as a walk in the park for me, sadly it will not be....! Following a knee operation I have been struggling with the training and whilst I had hoped to complete the run in well under an hour, I now realise that this may be rather optimistic. However, you can rest assured that I will be doing my utmost to try to achieve a good time.
The Bob Champion Cancer Trust is my chosen charity and one that I have been involved with for a few years. The work of the charity supports research into the causes, and prevention, of male cancers with a current focus on prostate cancer research . You will find some more information about the charity below.
