<p>I have set myself the personal challenge of swimming the channel - in the comfort of my local heated pool!</p> <p>It&nbsp;is 22 miles or 1402 lengths and I hope to complete it in less than 12 weeks.</p> <p>I hope to raise &pound;2000 in order to buy a specialist chair for Braeside House which cares for older people with a visual impairment.
