In September 2019 I will be participating in a trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro the tallest free-standing mountain in the world as well as the tallest mountain in Africa at 5,895m. I will be climbing Kilimanjaro in aid of the charity Mind.

Mind, the mental health charity provide advice and support to empower anyone with a mental health problem. Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK experience a mental health problem a each year with only 1 in 8 adults with a mental health problem currently receiving treatment and suicide being the leading cause of death to males under the age of 35. Just £3 can help put a Mind guidebook in local GP surgeries helping people find the treatment they may need, £7 pays for a call operator who can help someone out when they need it the most and £50 can help Mind campaign for better mental health services from the government for the support and resources they need. By donating you will not only be helping to raise awareness but also helping Mind support mental health sufferers and therefore help to improve their lives.
