I am raising money in order to help rebuild Bani Bilas School after being destroyed in the 2015 Nepal earthquakes. Following one of the earthquakes, one of the Bani Bilas buildings had to be completely dismantled and while students are currently being taught in temporary shelters these get excessively hot in the summer months, and are very noisy during the monsoon season, meaning children struggle to concentrate and get the education that they need. With fundings still lacking, students and teachers have returned to damaged and unsafe buildings to continue learning which has had a detrimental impact on their education.

On the 27th October 2017, I will be going across to Nepal along with other volunteers at ActionAid to build a new 2 story building with 6 new classrooms, and so providing the children with a safe environment to learn, helping to change their lives for the better. 

Please note that any donations given will be directly given to ActionAid to help fund the resources needed for the rebuild of the school.
