Morgan's March

The Marsden March 2018 · 4 March 2018 ·
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
In September last year, one of my closest friends, Cameron, was diagnosed with testicular cancer. We were so shocked and devastated to hear it, being only 19 years old at the time. It reminds us that cancer can affect any and all of us at any point in our lives. However, it also shows us the unbelievable work and research that goes into cancer - after 5 difficult months of treatment, Cameron has had surgery and has massively improved from where he was initially last year.
I will be taking part in the Marsden March in support of Cameron, and also in memory of my Grandma, Merle White, who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer in 2007 - we are still missing her sorely to this day.
With continued support, the Marsden can carry on providing the high standards of care that has enabled Cameron and many others to look ahead and focus on their futures.
Any donations are welcome and would help massively!
