Abseiling spinnaker tower 170 metres! · 26 May 2013

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds such as the smoke alarm, alarm clock, intruder alarms and baby monitors. These amazing dogs also help deaf people to leave loneliness behind by providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Daniel and Sinead (brother and sister) have decided that 2013 will  be a charitable year for us.

In May 2013 we have decided to challenge ourselves mentally and physically by.....Abseiling the spinaker tower! A challenge to abseil 100 metres of the iconic landmark with stunning views across Portsmouth.

We are open to ideas of dressing up while doing the abseil. Give us some ideas :)

In October 2013 Daniel will be running the Great South Run. This challenginig route across Porsmouth will be an amazing achievment as well as pushing himself to achieve a respectable time.

All money goes towards an amazing charity. Hearing Dogs for Deaf people. Hearing dogs for deaf people rely on donations to train puppies to become Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. This is a very lengthy and expensive process, but the outcome really change the lives of deaf people.

Please dig deep and donate. Every penny helps :)
