I imagine most people donating on here will know me and therefore know how long I have had long hair and how much my hair is part of who I am. Fewer of you will know of me losing my mother a couple of years ago and fewer still will know of the pain I have suffered mentally from the sudden loss of her. I will be shaving off all the hair on my head to about a grade 4 in order to raise funds for The stroke Association in a hope that our donations, though probably just drops in a vast ocean, will help towards research and maybe prevention of this condition. I have chosen to shave my hair to truly show how much I am willing to sacrifice for the memory of my Mum and hope that you can all dig deep and give towards my goal. I know £500 is a lot to hope for, however if everyone of my facebook friends was to donate £5 I would easily make this target, if when you donate you share my page to your facebook page then I will hopefully get through to even more people.

I do not know the exact date I will do this but imagine it will be some time in August around the anniversary of when Glenis passed away. I will probably arrange to do this at a public venue and may even allow the highest bidder to do the cutting! More will be revealed during the course of the fundraising.
