Supported by Morzine Source Magazine and the Bec Jaune Brewery, we're undertaking the Snow-Camp Alpine Challenge and we're taking things very seriously indeed. A weekend-long, ski-athon this ain't. We're in it to win in, just like last year.

The aim of the game is to complete a pre-planned circuit of the Portes du Soleil, passing 25 check points along the way. We'll be GPS tagged, so there'll be no cheating. The minimum distance we need to cover is 150km, but it's fair to say that we absolutely smashed this distance last year, covering 313km over the two days and beating 17 other teams into first place. 

Yes, it all sounds like great fun, and you're probably wondering why the heck you should sponsor us? Surely this is how we spend every weekend? NOPE. Whilst the four of us are lucky to live in this giant snowy playground, the kids supported by Snow Camp live in a vastly different place in hugely different conditions. Often from inner city areas, gangs, drugs and violence are the norm. Snow Camp take the kids off the streets and introduce them to winter sports. The difference it makes to their lives is staggering, and many have now completed a full programme to become qualified ski instructors. Snow Camp need important funds for their great work to continue, and that's why we're involved.
