Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page which is for our Mount Toubkal 2010 challenge.

Kurt (close friend and our guide for the trip) and I have always wanted to organise something to raise money for Help For Heroes. So a few months ago (September 2009) we started putting together a team to trek up Mount Toubkal in the last week of August 2010. Mount Toubkal is a peak which stands within the Atlas Mountain Range in south-western Morocco. At 4167 metres, it is the highest peak in North Africa. To add to the challenge, we are expecting temperatures in excess of 40'C at this time of the year.

News update: Model Rosie Jones is on the team!!!

News update: Model Stacey Massey is on the team!!!

News update: Burt has had to withdraw because of a promotions course. My good friend Jeff Jenner will be taking his place in helping me organise the expedition and as Mountain Guide!

News update: Chris 'Mace The Ace' Mason has had to withdraw because of a back injury.

The reason we are raising money for Help For Heroes is because we believe in supporting the brave soldiers who have risked it all for their country - most of all those that were not fortunate enough to return home in good health. Help for Heroes was launched in October 2007 in response to the desire of ordinary people to do something practical to help our wounded servicemen and women get the best help, support and futures that they deserve. If you want to help us to help them, please sponsor us on our Mount Toubkal 2010 challenge.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Thank you in advance for all of your donations. Every pound really will make a difference.

We will keep the page up to date with details and photos of our training, fundraising, other preparations and the challenge itself.

So please dig deep and donate now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
