Well we survived a 11 1/2 hour marathon. Dropped off outside Birmingham at 3am and a trip involving 5 miles of walking, blagged taxi rides, car rides with Kevin the road safety officer, lorry rides with Bob the trucker (amongst others) all to raise a mind blowing amount - well over £1,000 when you add on gift aid. We mean it most genuinely when we say that you made it so worthwhile. Thanks A&T x

Probably bundled blindfold into the back of a car boot. We are then stripped naked (I might have that detail a little wrong) and we have to make our way back to Manchester by sunrise. (That bit is true). There are limitations on the resources and actions we can draw upon. It will be an epic battle of man against nature... (Apparently friends will also be able to track our progress on the night).

And in all seriousness it's a blooming great cause. The Albert Kennedy Trust is a voluntary organisation based in London and Manchester which supports young LGBT people who are homeless, living in a hostile environment or in housing crisis. It was founded on the premise that young LGBT people needed somewhere to go if they were kicked out of their parental home or the care system.

We're asking friends to donate a few pounds - whatever you can afford would be much appreciated.
