Yes it's true! I've decided to enter yet another 10k race, this time through the streets of Manchester, despite saying 'Never again!' at the end of last years Cancer Research run.
This time, I plan to run without any fractured ankle's due to UDRI's, and therefore may stand a chance of finishing within an hour... I also plan to learn from my mistakes last year, and cover myself from head to toe in vaseline and plasters!
Last year I managed to raise over £2000 for Cancer Research which was a phenomenal amount, and I'm greatful to everyone who helped me achieve such a large figure for their generosity. It has however made me a little hesitant about fund raising again, so soon after, and have therefore decided to pledge the minimum amount needed to represent MacMillan Cancer Support myself.
Obviously, if you find yourself with a few spare coins, then please do feel free to add them to the pot, after all anything else I manage to raise is a bonus and will go to a marvelous cause.
Remeber, donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me (saves me going round collecting it all at a later date).
Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks to everyone for their support.
Chris
