We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

We lost my Nana on the 31st of January 2011, she was diagnosed with APL (Acute Promyelocytic Leukaemia) on Friday 28th of January 2011 and sadly we lost her less than 72 hours later.

Having already beaten Breast Cancer twice we strongly believed that our brave, loving and unbelievably strong Nana would have no problems battling Leukaemia. Unfortunately this was just one battle too many.  Before her illness we were clueless about this type of cancer, and as my Grandad says, we learnt the hard way.

So now looking forward, we would like to honour her memory and raise awareness of Leukaemia so that other people will become more aware and hopefully the research will find more effective treatments.

We've set up the Margaret White Forget Me Not Fund with Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and every penny of the money donated will go in to her fund.
