Talulah and Delilah were born 10 weeks early with multiple health complications associated with their prematurity. The support we received during that time enabled them to thrive and not just survive. 

After 5 weeks in Bristol Southmead the girls were flown to the RVI NICU Ward 35 to continue their recovery. And we continued to receive support from them for 2 years after leaving the hospital in the exceptional after care provided by the truly incredible and wonderful consultant Martin Ward Platt. He was a star in a midnight sky during many moments. And helped me learn to trust my intuition after becoming dependent on the beeps of machinery for reassurance.

Having a preemie or poorly baby is a rollercoaster. Tiny Lives support families with everything from the practical supply of preemie nappies and other care items, to equipment, to staff to research and to bereavement support. They make a huge contribution to Ward 35 at the RVI but also nationally and internationally improving the outcomes for babies born too soon or poorly.
