Penny Appeal makes charity affordable and rewardable. We work in 30 crisis-hit countries, providing life-saving aid to the poor and needy to help alleviate poverty and transform lives for just pennies per day. Your small change can help us make a big difference – every penny really does count.

Story

Assalamu - Alaikum (Peace be with you),

Safe, clean water is fundamental to human life. Yet even today 1.8 billion people in developing countries in Africa and Asia use a water source that is contaminated with waterborne diseases like diarrhoea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid and polio. Together, these diseases kill an estimated 4,000 children every single day.

I am raising money to help build a Thirst Relief well which can give families reliable access to safe, clean water. This allows them to drink, wash, make wudu, grow crops and water their animals safely. It will mean they don’t have to spend hours fetching water each day, freeing up time to go to school, work or look after their families.

Therefore, April 2018 i'll be taking on my biggest challenge yet to run the London full Marathon 26.2 miles inshallah ( God willing ) I am hoping to raise £5000 for this noble cause, which will be in my late fathers name.

Clean water means healthier lives, improved livelihoods and, ultimately, a route out of poverty. So today I ask you for two things, firstly, to make a donation, however, large or small and secondly to keep the people  who are suffering around the world in your prayers.

Thank you, for taking a few moments of your time to visit my fundraising page.

Mubarak
