Hey!

Those of you who know me know this isn't my first fundraising event. Last year myself and a friend raised almost £1,000 for Cancer Research UK through a small event where we shaved our hair off.

This year I decided to do something else - the Pretty Muddy Race For Life (5K) at Newcastle Racecourse on July 19th. I'm getting a group of friends - and their friends- to join me in doing the obstacle course.

In the summer of 2009 my Dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Thankfully he was one of the lucky ones - he survived when so many others don't. Without charities like Cancer Research my Dad may not have been so lucky, so I want to take every opportunity to raise money for them, to help other people survive cancer.

Every donation large or small makes a difference, so please donate whatever you can.
