Well done all Mum Mob recruits!
Operational update from Mum Mob HQ:
At 4.27pm, Friday 18th March 2011, the Comic Relief Flash Mob hit an unsuspecting Sainsbury's on Dog Kennel Hill.
The fruit and veg aisles were turned into an impromptu dance floor for just under 3 minutes as more than 50 Mum Mobbers (big and small), danced up a storm doing the mashed potato and the twist to the sounds of "Do you Love Me?" by The Contours.
Shocked shoppers and store staff soon joined in the Flash Mob spirit, giving encouragement, clapping, cheering and even joining in dancing with the Mobbers.
Despite the melee, two conscientious Sainsbury's staff members continued steadfastly restocking the bananas, despite being surrounded by dancing, whooping Mums, Grans, Dads and kids. We applaud their dedication to duty!
Mum Mob HQ would like to pass on our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has taken part and donated so incredibly generously, sometimes more than once, thank you so much.
To all Mum Mob recruits, we are incredibly proud of all of your efforts and we hope you had as much fun as we did!
If you can bear to look please take a peek at the video link on this page.
Well done again all of you and remember...your dancing made a difference.
