A great crisis has taken over the borders of Europe. Millions of people- like you and me- have been victimised and as a result been displaced, from the comforts of their homes, in order to flee the horrors of war.

These vulnerable refugees have been placed in hostile conditions, dreading the horrific winter yet to come. There is limited food, water and shelter! What if one of us was forced to flee because of someone else's war? What if we had to abandon the many luxuries of our homes just to save our lives? We will never be able to understand the pain that these people are suffering, however what we can do is help and show them that there is still someone out there who cares!

As a gap year student, I have plenty of time on my hands which I want dispose usefully. I have taken this small initiative towards something that I feel very strongly and passionately about. I would really appreciate if some of my friends and family support me in this venture and help me achieve the invaluable feeling of making a tiny difference to another's life.
