British Airways i360 idrop abseil Brighton - IRLA · 10 June 2019

We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've decided to do something very outside my comfort zone... Some of you may know that I am not comfortable with heights if I am not able to hold on to something solid. If you've ever been out in the car with me, you may also know that I am not a very good passenger as I am not the one in charge of the controls...

Despite all this, as part of celebrating a milestone year I have made a foolish commitment to abseil the BA i360. The BA i360 is a 162 metre observation tower on the seafront in Brighton.

The idea of doing this petrifies me! So, I have no idea how this is going to pan out when there is only a rope suspending me above a 500 feet drop with the southerly sea breeze hitting me sideways, swinging me in the air.

I may not be panicking yet, but I fear that it is coming...

So, I am asking for your help to bolster my resolve and discourage me from chickening out by making it worthwhile.

Every penny you donate will go to the charity as the fee for the event is already paid. So, please be generous.
