Muriel's son, Dean, is the Chief Executive of a charity called Bag Books which is the only organisation in the world producing tactile and multi-sensory books for people with severe learning disabilities. Muriel was a keen supporter of the charity and was selling raffle tickets for them just before she died.
As the Chief Executive, Dean will ensure that any funds donated in her memory are well spent and that the funds are used to subsidise books and storytelling within Lincolnshire.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Bag Books and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer (in order for Bag Books to reclaim Gift Aid, you must have paid sufficient UK income of capital gains tax to cover it e.g. for a £20 donation you must have paid at least £5 tax during the financial year - this includes tax on savings accounts not reclaimed elsewhere).
