The Curry Run · 25 April 2015

We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Smurfs are jointly running (or waddling, in my case!) 30km.  Ella will be running 5km, I will be running 10km and Warren is aiming for 15km.

Now, for those of you who know us, we are not runners (except Ella!) but we are determined to achieve things once we set our minds to something, so please encourage and support us by making a small donation to The Soldier's Charity - a hugely worthwhile cause.

The Charity gives lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families.  They risk so much for us, but for them, it's just doing their job.  There are two thousand wounded servicemen from the Afghanistan conflict who will need lifelong help.  Over the last 50 years, the number of British soldiers killed in major conflicts sadly exceeds 1500, equivalent to 10 metres per soldier for the 15km run.

We thank you in advance for any donations - they will really keep us motivated on training runs and throughout the Curry Run on 25th April.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
