Its that time again, the winter is upon us and the nights are dark, cold and often wet!!
I would appreciate your support in helping me raise money for Loe House.
Leo House supports children & young people with a life-limiting condition from birth to 25 years & their families. We cannot cure but we can help give the best quality of life possible.
The sunny morning on Sunday 27th did the trick for me, I was able to get up at 6:30 and bang out 19+ miles over 3hrs, preparation is going well.
I have also completed the Wokingham 1/2 Marathon on 13th February, in a time of 1hr 54min, not too bad considering the head wind in the last 2 miles and the constant rain, I will be looking to improve my time at the Silverstone 1/2 on 6th March.
Just think of me plodding between 30-50 miles a week to get fit for this years 2011 Brighton Marathon, this will be for the fourth marathon and this time I will break the 4 hour barrier.
Thanks for all your support
Mark
