If we have a bad day at work we might forget to save our report, lose a few hours, get stressed? But for our soldiers and their families a bad day at work can change their lives forever
I met a young soldier with one arm recently, his young wife struggling to get used to the wheel chair he was now in. This young 20-something couple should be looking forward to a lifetime much different to the one they now face. SSAFA Forces Help are not just here now while the conflict is big news, they are here throughout, as they have been for 125 years, supporting servicemen past and present and there families, giving care, accommodation, emotional and financial support.
The single "My Boy" has been officially endorsed by SSAFA Forces Help, and features Jon Brookes of the Charlatans on drums. My Boy is now available through iTunes and most other download sites (Napster, Amazon, Spotify etc). Just search for Chris Whiting and you'll find it.
Alternatively, we appreciate any donations made here through Just Giving.
Your support is very very much appreciated and every penny from this project goes to SSAFA Forces Help who do amazing work for our forces and their families.
Please just one click on iTunes gets you a thought provoking song and gets much needed funds to SSAFA Forces Help. All we ask for is two clicks, one on itunes, and one to forward this group to all your friends, we are not spending cash on expensive PR, which is why we need you to help spread the word, so the cash generated goes to the people that need it and not the media!
“More and more of our soldiers aren’t coming home and when their families need help SSAFA Forces Help is there for them. I hope this beautiful song gives people something to reflect on.” (Jon Brookes, The Charlatans)
Please buy it and help spread the word!
Thanks for your support, all the very best, and have a great Christmas and new year
