Having had a very ill child in and out of hospital for various appointments, treatments and operations I know how difficult life with a poorly child can be, thankfully for us this is now over and Jack is a happy and healthy boy. However, there are many more families currently dealing with this nightmare. Make-A-Wish UK grant wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and to fight their condition. Wishes give them and their family time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold.
