Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Cisco Ride Across Britain fund raising page.

For the second year running I am cycling as part of the Cisco Ride Across Britain (RAB) team to help raise funds for the British Paralympic Association.

Last year, after a break of 30 years, I cycled the single stage from Carlisle Racecourse to Haydock Park.

This year (with my rose tinted spectacles firmly attached) I signed up for two daily stages. So, on September 12th & 13th I will cycle from Haydock Park to Penrith and from Penrith to Glasgow.

While 200+ miles over 2 days is a challenge for a slightly "tubby" middle-aged man, it pales in to insignificance compared to the challenges faced by many of the British Paralympic atheletes competing in the London 2012 games.

Please help me make a difference.
