Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

So apparently we're a bunch of 'Has Been' Rugby players who need to prove ourselves!!  Some might say that some of us are 'Never Was' Rugby players... lol

Well if that's the case then doing this challenge for REGAIN is one of the stupidest ideas we have ever had.

Having said that, it is a cause that is close to our hearts as we have a former teammate who broke his neck whilst playing the game we love, and will be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

I hope he will forgive me for saying he is one of the lucky ones as he has a strong familly unit around him, and fund raising done by the club has helped him carry on as normal a life as is possible.

Other people are not as lucky, and this is where REGAIN come in. The fund raising they do help people enjoy life, and sport in a way that they might not be able to do without help.

Our challenge is to Cycle 40 miles around the Snowdon area, and just to add a bit of an edge, Climb one of the trickier Snowdon Paths and Canoe 2.5 miles around Llyn Gwynant all in under 9 hours...

The training has begun and the challenge is on, so support us and at the same time support REGAIN and all the people less fortunate than yourself.

Thanks for your time and your donation
