I am taking part in a rather long bike ride to raise money for Wales Air Ambulance. In total it is a 212 mile ride over three days (7th,8th & 9th August 2009).  

The route is from North to South Wales visiting the three Air Ambulance bases en route. Starting in the Air Ambulance Base in Caernarfon, we will head over Snowdonia to Llanberis, Betws Y Coed, Bala and on to Welshpool at the end of day one. Day two will start at the Welshpool Base, then on through Montgomery, Bishops Castle, Knighton and the end of day two in Brecon. Day three crosses the Brecon Beacons, Hirwaun, Neath and through Swansea to the finish at the Swansea Airport Base. What a route - I can't wait!!!

The minimum sponsorship required to take part is £750, but I have set my target at £1200 for a very good reason. My Dad recently had an accident at work, to which the Air Ambulance was deployed. Luckily his injuries did not turn out to be serious. Every mission the Air Ambulance makes costs over £1200 so I would very much like to cover the cost of my Dad's mission. So please please please be very generous and help me make my target.....
