The National Memorial Arboretum is running a £12million Appeal to build a Centre for Remembrance worthy of the sacrifice our Service men and women have made in giving their lives for us. The new development will include a bigger reception area; Heroes' Square to provide much needed outdoor space for services and reunions; an Armed Forces Pavilion which will provide hospitality areas; an interpretation centre addressing the various forms of Rememberance; as well as a new restaurant, cafe and shop.In addition there will be a dedicated Education Centre to help us increase the number of children eager to learn about history, citizenship and the environment on school visits. We anticipate building work starting next year with a practical completion date in 2014.

Donations, pledges and gifts in kind to date total just over £6m.
