Story
NSPCC Scotland is still here for the children who need us - and we are needed more than ever. More children are reaching out to Childline worried about the coronavirus. With schools closed, child protection is more difficult. And across Scotland, families are struggling to adapt to lockdown. That's why NSPCC Scotland and our wonderful Childline Bases are adapting to make sure that we can still be here when they need us most.
Sadly, home isn't a safe place for every child. NSPCC Scotland need your support to make sure that we can still be here for children at risk of abuse.
Our Childline Bases in Aberdeen and Glasgow have been seeing teams of dedicated volunteers answering calls, online chats and emails from children who are feeling anxious and alone. We need your support to make sure that we can still be here for children at risk.
Just £12 could pay for one of our trained volunteer counsellors to answer 3 calls from children who are asking for Childline's help.
A donation of £27 could pay for a Childline Supervisor for one hour, supporting our volunteer counsellors and making sure that children get the right support when they need it.
And a generous donation of £62 could pay for headset equipment allowing our Childline Staff to work remotely, so that we can still support as many children as possible during these difficult times.
Whatever you can give, you would be helping us to still be here for children. Thank you.
