With just over 1000 mountain gorillas left in the world and 3 subspecies now critically endangered it is vital we do everything we can to save gorillas from extinction. We protect them from poachers, safeguard their forest home and improve livelihoods in local communities. Will you join us?

Story

The picture is Grand Master Phill Milner Sensei in 1969. When our Chief Instructor Sensei Tony trained under him, they'd have 1000 press ups nearly every week, at a rate of 80 per minute. Thats mental. And so are we, so in homeage to the Late Master Milner and his tireless efforts for charity (including walking barefoot from lands end to john o groats) we're doing this years 1K challenge.

1000 Pressups, chin ups, sit ups, squats, kicks, punches or a combo of 2. The whole club is taking part to raise money for localised charities doing their bit to save the planet. We'll benchpress the planet after a few years of this Karateka!

- Tarran Huntley, NTUK President
