Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance provides life-saving, pre-hospital critical care, to patients in need. We are your local air ambulance charity, a vital part of the community and we rely on your support. Together, with your support, we can be there for patients today, tomorrow and in the future.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A few years back Bill in our office had a ride in the air ambulance, which probably saved his life. Bill is now fit and well again and we are indebted to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance for their work; we want to repay their efforts by raising as much money as possible for them, so that others can benefit from the work of this amazing team of people!

A team of cyclists from NVB are taking part in the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance annual 'Coast 2 Coast' challenge, a 55 mile ride from Watchet on the north coast of Somerset to West Bay in Dorset. We are already in training and racking up the miles over and around the Mendips, so hopefully we will all make it!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

A special mention to Rich Evans at Live2Ride, our local cycle shop in Frome; he has supplied most of our bikes, helped organise team jerseys (so we at least look professional, if a little slow!) and is even coming along for the ride and help drag our recalcitrant peleton along! Many thanks, Rich!
