Just Walk, 15th May 2010 - 40 km Charity Walk
The Lincolnshire Floating Support schemes find that one of the largest obstacles when helping our service users find and sustain accommodation, is that many are not considered for housing if they have rent arrears. We are hoping to raise funds for a pot of money to assist our service users to address rent arrears, to support them to access accommodation and in turn, increase their opportunities to live more stable and settled lives.
To raise money, project worker's Michelle Howard and Michele Thompson are taking part in the JUST WALK charity event to walk 40km over the South Downs on May 15th 2010. We therefore ask everybody to sponsor us and give generously to support us!
